Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans

Instructions

  1. Flour and grease a 9 x 11-inch pan.
  2. Melt the butter.
  3. Sift and mix together dry ingredients: sugar, cocoa, and salt.
  4. Add vanilla to beaten eggs and mix with the melted butter.
  5. Combine all ingredients together and pour into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes.
