Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups corn meal
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 5 cups warm water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Cook on top of the stove until thick, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour into a well-greased baking pan.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Best baked in a large black iron frying pan.
