Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dry beans
  • 5 1/2 to 6 qt. water
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 1 pinch thyme
  • 4 large cloves garlic, diced
  • 12 to 15 beef cubes
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 3/4 c. Wondra flour
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Blend cold water, flour, and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into the cooked soup and stir well.
  3. Cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until heated through and slightly thickened.
