Ingredients

  • 1 large jar Ragu spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
  • 4 to 6 whole bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 box lasagna noodles
  • 1 package Mozzarella cheese slices
  • 6 to 8 Velveeta cheese slices

Instructions

  1. Combine the spaghetti sauce with mushrooms, bay leaves, oregano, and garlic powder in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 1 hour, stirring often.
