Easy Cherry Cheese Danish

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages crescent rolls
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine and cream together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Butter a jelly roll pan.
  4. Pat one package of crescent rolls into the bottom and a little up the sides of the pan.
  5. Bake for 4 minutes to set.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture evenly on top.
  7. Spread the cherry pie filling over the cheese layer.
  8. Stretch the remaining crescent roll and lay it on top of the filling.
  9. It will not completely cover the filling.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. When cool, sift powdered sugar on top.
