- Keep the popped popcorn warm in an oven set between 200 and 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a saucepan, boil the brown sugar, butter, light corn syrup, vanilla, and salt for 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the baking soda.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn in a large ovenproof bowl and stir well.
- Bake in the oven for 10 minutes, then remove and stir again.
- Return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
