Ingredients

  • 1 peck green tomatoes
  • 5 sweet peppers
  • 4 to 5 hot peppers
  • 4 large heads cabbage
  • 1/2 gal vinegar
  • 5 onions
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the green tomatoes and drain off the juice.
  2. Chop the sweet peppers, hot peppers, onions, and cabbage.
  3. Mix all chopped ingredients together in a large bowl.
  4. Add vinegar, sugar, and salt to the mixture.
  5. Add enough water to cover the mixture.
  6. Cook the mixture slowly for 15 minutes.
  7. Seal the hot mixture in jars for storage.
