Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 5 ounces Mike Sells popt snax

Instructions

  1. Bring butter, brown sugar, and white corn syrup to a boil and then simmer for 2 minutes.
  2. Add vanilla and baking soda to the mixture and stir well.
  3. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the coated popcorn on two buttered cookie sheets.
  5. Bake at 225°F (107°C) for 30 minutes, stirring or tossing halfway through.
  6. Cool on waxed paper and break apart into pieces.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
