Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 stalk of celery chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 1 medium can of rotel tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic, and butter in a large skillet until vegetables are tender.
  2. Add shrimp and canned rotel tomatoes to the skillet.
  3. Cook the mixture for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve the etouffee over cooked rice.
