Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium size jar Ragu (extra chunky)
  • 8 oz. box uncooked noodles
  • 1 large container low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown ground beef, then strain and return to the pan.
  3. Add sauce and water, bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer meat sauce, noodles, and cottage cheese, repeating the layers and ending with a cheese layer.
  6. Bake for 1 hour.
  7. Let stand for 15 to 20 minutes before cutting.
