Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped ham or cooked bacon or mushrooms
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Add the milk to the beaten eggs and mix well.
  4. Stir in chopped ham, cooked bacon, or mushrooms.
  5. Mix in shredded Cheddar cheese and minced onion.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased or sprayed 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch dish or 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  7. Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes or until the omelet is set and the top is golden brown.
