Ingredients

  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. chopped basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the halves of peppers.
  2. Saute the sliced peppers in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and garlic, if you choose, until tender-crisp.
  3. Toss the sautéed peppers with chopped basil, cooked penne pasta, and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
