Ingredients

  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Butter an 8-inch square pan and set aside.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, butter, and shortening.
  3. Microwave at high (100%) power for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, stirring until smooth and melted.
  4. Add the miniature marshmallows and chopped nuts to the melted mixture.
  5. Blend well until evenly combined.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  8. Cut into 2-inch squares to serve.
