Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 large potato, diced
  • 1 large carrot, diced
  • 1 large stalk celery, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 box dry vegetable soup mix
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot until fully cooked.
  2. Add diced potato, carrot, celery, onion, stewed tomatoes, vegetable soup mix, water, salt, and pepper to the pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender and flavors meld, about 30 minutes.
