Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury pizza crust
  • 1/3 cup Ragu Pizza Quick sauce
  • 1 (3.5 oz.) Canadian style bacon
  • 1 (3.5 oz.) pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Unroll the Pillsbury pizza crust onto a greased cookie sheet.
  2. Press dough into a 12 x 8 inch rectangle. Spread Ragu Pizza Quick sauce on the dough, leaving a 2-inch border on the long sides and 1/2 inch on the short sides.
  3. Layer Canadian bacon, pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped green pepper, chopped onion, and dried Italian seasoning over the sauce.
  4. Fold the long sides of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal. Seal the short sides as well.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Tips & Substitutions

For a twist on flavors, try adding sliced olives or mushrooms to the filling. You can also use a different type of cheese, such as provolone or cheddar, for a unique taste. If you prefer a spicier version, include some crushed red pepper flakes. Make sure to seal the edges well to prevent any filling from leaking out during baking.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the Stromboli with extra Ragu Pizza Quick sauce on the side for dipping. A fresh green salad or some garlic bread pairs well for a complete meal. For a fun twist, try serving with a side of Fettucini Supreme to complement the Italian flavors.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the Stromboli in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes until warmed through. You can also microwave individual slices, but the crust may become soft.
