Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 egg
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • garlic to taste
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • chili powder to taste
  • water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or skillet for browning the meatballs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, egg, salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning if using.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
  4. Brown the meatballs in chicken fat or oil until golden on all sides.
  5. Chop onion and bell pepper.
  6. Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  7. Stir in tomato paste, chili powder, and water to create the sauce.
  8. Simmer the meatballs in the sauce for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
