Instructions
- Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil.
- Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer until the pan is full.
- Combine brown sugar and margarine in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 4 minutes on high.
- Stir thoroughly and pour the caramel mixture over the crackers.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
- Let the chocolate melt, then spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over the melted chocolate.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Break into small bite-sized pieces before serving.
