Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • dash of red pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain the noodles and set aside.
  3. Cook the celery and whole tomatoes together in a pan.
  4. Brown the ground beef with chopped or minced onion.
  5. Combine all cooked ingredients in a casserole dish, adding salt, pepper, and red pepper to taste.
  6. Add chili powder to the mixture.
  7. Cover the casserole and let it simmer in an oven at 250°F for 2 hours.
