Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 2 pounds confectioners sugar
  • 10 tablespoons bourbon whiskey
  • 2 sticks butter
  • dipping chocolate

Instructions

  1. Place chopped pecans in a glass bowl and cover with bourbon whiskey. Let stand overnight.
  2. Melt butter and combine with confectioners sugar and pecan/bourbon mixture.
  3. Mix with a wooden spoon until well combined.
  4. Let batter cool for 1 hour to overnight.
  5. Roll the cooled mixture into small balls.
  6. Let stand in refrigerator for 1 hour or in freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Melt the dipping chocolate and keep it at minimum heat.
  8. Using toothpicks, dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place onto wax paper to set.
