Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 lb uncooked broad noodles
  • 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c seedless white raisins
  • 1 c light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 medium grated apple

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles until tender-firm, then drain thoroughly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients: vanilla, cooked noodles, vegetable oil, beaten eggs, white raisins, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, and grated apple.
  3. Mix well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 14-inch Pyrex baking dish.
  5. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for about 35 minutes until well browned.
  6. Serve as a side dish or dessert.
