Ingredients

  • 12 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 2 (10 oz.) packages broccoli in cheese sauce
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Remove crusts from the white bread slices and cut or tear into pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with milk, minced onion, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the bread pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread.
  6. Spread the broccoli in cheese sauce evenly over the bread.
  7. Add the diced ham on top.
  8. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of Cheddar cheese and 1 1/2 cups of shredded Monterey Jack cheese over the mixture.
  9. Pour half and half evenly over everything.
  10. Bake in the oven until set and golden brown, about 45 minutes.
