Ellen'S Celery Bake

Instructions
- Parboil celery until almost tender.
- Drain and put into a 1 1/2-quart casserole with almonds and water chestnuts.
- Melt butter in saucepan; add flour and stir until smooth.
- Slowly stir in broth and half and half.
- Stir over low heat until thickened.
- Add mushrooms, salt, pepper and Worcestershire.
- Pour over celery. Sprinkle with cheese and crumbs.
- Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly.
- Serves 6.
