Tips & Substitutions
For a fresh twist, try adding diced avocado or jalapeños for heat. If you can't find shoepeg corn, regular sweet corn works well too. You can also substitute fresh herbs like parsley for cilantro if you prefer a different flavor. This salsa can be made ahead of time, allowing the flavors to meld, much like Puerto Escondido Salsa.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this vibrant salsa with tortilla chips for a perfect appetizer, or use it as a topping for grilled chicken or fish. It pairs beautifully with Easy Mexican Pot Roast, adding a refreshing contrast. Additionally, consider serving it alongside tacos or burritos for a complete meal experience.
Storage & Reheating
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors will continue to develop, making it even tastier the next day. To reheat, gently warm in a saucepan over low heat, or enjoy it cold straight from the fridge.
