Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 extra large eggs
  • 1 (8 oz) carton yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Beat on medium speed until smooth, about 3 minutes.
  4. Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan.
  5. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  6. Cake should look dark brown and crusty.
  7. Let stand in the pan for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from pan and let cool.
  9. Sprinkle generously with powdered sugar before serving.
