- Mix flour and sugar in a large, tightly covered Tupperware bowl.
- In another bowl or measuring cup, combine 1/2 cup warm water and yeast; let it dissolve.
- In another bowl, measure 2 cups buttermilk and soda; let it dissolve.
- Pour the yeast-water mixture into Wesson oil and stir until well mixed.
- Add the oil and yeast mixture to the flour mixture and combine.
- Knead and roll the dough on a floured board if using immediately.
- Cut the dough into biscuits and bake, or cover tightly and refrigerate for later use.
- Allow the dough to rise before baking if refrigerated.
