Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted shortening
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Instructions
