Blackberry Pudding Tarts

- Bake tart shells according to package directions; cool completely.
- In a saucepan, combine water, 1 1/4 cups sugar, self-rising flour, and butter.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, gently toss blackberries with the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and 1/8 teaspoon vanilla.
- Fill the cooled tart shells with the berry mixture.
- Pour the cooked pudding over the berries in each tart shell.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
