Ingredients

  • graham crackers
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a jelly roll pan with graham crackers.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the margarine and brown sugar over medium heat until combined and bubbly.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the graham crackers in the pan.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot caramel layer.
  8. Wait a few minutes until chocolate chips melt, then spread evenly with a spatula.
  9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
