Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the frozen chopped spinach and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Place the cooked spinach in a strainer and press out all excess water.
  3. In a bowl, combine the drained spinach with bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, and finely chopped garlic.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  5. Roll the mixture into balls similar to meatballs.
  6. Fry the spinach balls in oil until they are golden brown.
  7. Add tomato sauce and serve.
