Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts, sautéed in butter
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Combine ground meat, chopped onion, yogurt, sautéed pine nuts, salt, pepper, and all-spice in a bowl.
  2. Place the meat mixture on dough patties and shape into triangles.
  3. Arrange the shaped pies on an oiled baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes until bottoms are lightly browned.
  5. Broil for 5 minutes to brown the tops, if needed.
