Ingredients

  • 20 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pickling spice
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • egg dye

Instructions

  1. Combine white vinegar, sugar, salt, pickling spice, and egg dye in a pot.
  2. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Place peeled hard-boiled eggs in 2 large jars.
  4. Pour hot pickling liquid over eggs, covering them completely.
  5. Cover jars and refrigerate for 36 hours before serving.
