- Roll the dough to ¼-inch thickness, cut into rounds, and spread with softened butter.
- Place remaining rounds on top of the cutouts.
- Sprinkle the tops with sugar.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 14 minutes or until golden brown.
