Ingredients

  • 1 large potato, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/4 to 3 3/4 c. all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Cook potato in water until tender.
  2. Drain and reserve 3/4 cup mashed potato (set aside 1/2 cup).
