Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 heaping tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except vinegar in a small saucepan; mix well and bring to a boil.
  2. Add vinegar, stirring constantly.
  3. Put in a piece of butter the size of a walnut.
  4. Boil until thick.
  5. To serve, cut boiled eggs in half and pour sauce over them.
