- Layer sliced sweet potatoes, 2/3 cup French fried onions, and half of the apple wedges in the prepared dish.
- Place the wedges in the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, stir together pineapple with juice, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Spoon the pineapple mixture over the sweet potato layer.
- Arrange the remaining apple wedges over the pineapple layer.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until heated through.
- Uncover and sprinkle with the remaining 2/3 cup onions.
- Bake for an additional 3 minutes or until the onions are golden.
