Crispy filo chicken parcels filled with tender chicken, fragrant garlic, tarragon, and a creamy lemon mayonnaise, perfect for elegant dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon tarragon
  • 2/3 cup melted butter
  • 12 sheets filo dough
  • 6 chicken breasts, boned and skinned
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix chopped green onion and mayonnaise in a bowl.
  2. Add lemon juice, minced garlic, and tarragon to the mixture. Set aside.
  3. Preheat oven and prepare workspace with melted butter.
  4. Wrap each chicken breast with filo sheets, brushing with melted butter between layers.
  5. Place rolled chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake until golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, sliced if desired, with the lemon mayonnaise sauce.
