Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 2 pkg. party rye bread

Instructions

  1. Brown the hot and mild sausage and drain excess fat.
  2. Mix the cooked sausage with chopped onions, Italian seasoning, and Velveeta cheese until well combined.
  3. Cook the mixture until the cheese has melted and is well incorporated with the sausage.
  4. Spread the sausage and cheese mixture onto party rye bread slices and place them on a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
