Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, sliced into 1/2-inch rings
  • 1 can sliced carrots, drained
  • 1 can sliced potatoes, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In an electric skillet, crumble ground chuck evenly over the bottom. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Spread onion slices evenly over the meat.
  3. Add sliced potatoes evenly on top of the onions.
  4. Then add sliced carrots over the potatoes.
  5. Spread cream of mushroom soup over the top of the carrots.
  6. Cover and cook approximately 30 minutes at 250°F, or until the meat is done.
  7. Do not stir during cooking.
  8. Serve in layers.
