Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced carrot
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen fish fillets, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce with diced celery, green pepper, onion, carrot, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Bring to boiling point.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
  3. Spoon the vegetable sauce into a 10 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch casserole or shallow 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  4. Place the thawed frozen fish fillets on top of the sauce and bake as desired.
