Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, cake flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add softened butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  4. Pour batter into a microwave-safe dish.
  5. Microwave on high for about 5 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, then top with your favorite icing and serve.
