Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Lightly brown the ground beef.
  2. Add water and mix well.
  3. Add all other ingredients.
  4. Simmer uncovered for 3 hours, stirring occasionally or cook in a crock-pot.
