Ingredients

  • 10 oz. can Hungry Jack refrigerated biscuits
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped peeled apples
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough into 10 pieces.
  3. Press or roll each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
  4. In a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Place about 2 tablespoons of chopped peeled apples onto the center of each flattened biscuit.
  6. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the sugar mixture over the apples.
  7. Fold the dough in half over the filling to form a half-moon shape.
  8. Press both edges of each fold to seal.
  9. Brush the tops with melted butter, then sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture.
  10. Place the foldovers in an ungreased jelly roll pan.
  11. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  13. Serve warm or cool as desired.
