Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. crescent rolls
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 3 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Lay one package of crescent rolls in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Combine sugar, cream cheese, egg yolk, lemon juice, and vanilla to make the filling.
  3. Spread the filling over the crescent roll in the pan.
  4. Top with the second package of crescent rolls.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the egg white and mix with 1/3 cup sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon without beating.
  6. Spread the egg white mixture over the top of the assembled rolls.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
