Ingredients

  • turkey
  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/4 tsp. crumbled basil
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle underside of turkey lightly with salt.
  2. Cream butter, Parmesan cheese, flour, dill weed, basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and pepper together. Spread over skin of turkey.
  3. Place turkey on a sheet of heavy foil and bring edges together up over the meat, folding over twice.
  4. Fold ends twice to seal the foil packet.
  5. Place the foil packet in a shallow baking pan and roast in a 350°F oven for about 1 hour and 50 minutes.
  6. Open the foil carefully and pour off the juices.
  7. Slice the meat and serve with the juices.
