Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb. button mushrooms, sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup white cooking wine or water
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place prepared sliced mushrooms in the bottom of the Reynolds foil bag.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme, then place them on top of the mushrooms inside the bag.
  3. Top the chicken with butter or margarine, chopped garlic, and white cooking wine or water.
  4. Seal the foil bag very tightly to prevent leaks.
  5. Place the sealed bag on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken.
  6. Spoon the liquid from the bag over the cooked chicken before serving.
