Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained ⓘ
- 1 can whole kernel Mexicorn ⓘ
- 1 can undiluted tomato soup ⓘ
- 1 can or jar sliced mushrooms, drained ⓘ
- 1 large onion, diced ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. sugar ⓘ
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil ⓘ
- 1 pkg. narrow noodles ⓘ
- 1/2 lb. cheese (American and/or Cheddar) ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown hamburger meat with onion and seasonings; drain grease. Add mushrooms, tomato soup and Mexicorn.
- Cook noodles and drain. Put cooked noodles in an oven-safe dish and cover with meat mixture.
- Cut cheese into sticks or, if grated, pour over top. Bake at 350°, covered, for 30 minutes.
- Serve with hot bread and salad or a green vegetable and the table is set!
