Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 can whole kernel Mexicorn
  • 1 can undiluted tomato soup
  • 1 can or jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 pkg. narrow noodles
  • 1/2 lb. cheese (American and/or Cheddar)

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger meat with onion and seasonings; drain grease. Add mushrooms, tomato soup and Mexicorn.
  2. Cook noodles and drain. Put cooked noodles in an oven-safe dish and cover with meat mixture.
  3. Cut cheese into sticks or, if grated, pour over top. Bake at 350°, covered, for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with hot bread and salad or a green vegetable and the table is set!
