Instructions
- Divide the dough into 4 parts; shape each into a 13-inch wide roll and 3/4-inch thick.
- Place the rolls on an ungreased cookie sheet, 4 inches apart and 2 inches from the edge.
- Make a depression 1/4 to 1/3-inch deep along the length of each roll.
- Fill the depression with about 1/3 cup of red jelly or jam.
- Bake until the cookies are light brown, then cut each roll into 12 pieces and serve.
