Ingredients

  • Top round steak
  • Potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • Carrots, chopped
  • Celery, chopped
  • Onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. tapioca
  • Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Trim fat away from the meat and dice into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Chop all vegetables to desired size.
  3. Mix meat, vegetables, salt, sugar, tapioca; add pepper to taste.
  4. Pour V-8 juice over ingredients, covering them completely.
  5. Place lid on casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 275°F for 4 hours. Do not uncover while baking.
