Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 small vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 lb. 2 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 8 oz. whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Mix and bake the yellow cake mix according to package directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan and allow to cool.
  2. Combine the vanilla instant pudding mix, milk, and softened cream cheese in a saucepan and heat until smooth.
  3. Spread the pudding and cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake.
  4. Drain the crushed pineapple and place it over the pudding layer.
  5. Spread whipped topping over the pineapple layer.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  7. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours before serving.
