Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can French beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can shoe peg corn
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheese
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup slivered toasted almonds
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cylinder of 12 oz. box Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Drain the French beans and shoe peg corn.
  2. Mix the drained beans and corn with cream of celery soup, grated sharp cheese, chopped onion, sour cream, and toasted slivered almonds.
  3. Melt the margarine and mix it with the crushed Ritz crackers.
  4. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the casserole.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until heated through and golden on top.
